Highlights

Two days ago the U.K. passed Spain as the Western European country with the most infections
Sweden's experiment of just protecting the elderly and otherwise allowing life to go on as normal seems to have led to no worse experience than Western European countries. The infection and death rates are high (0.29% and 12.48%) but are still lower than most Western European nations. Meanwhile their death rate is more than twice that of the United States.
It is strange how once a state or country achieves a given level of daily infections, that steady state rate goes on for days and days (known a palteauing).
