Highlights

This weeks list includes all 50 states!
The U.S. is logging cases at just over 60,000 for the last week. Next is Brazil with over 33,000 and India with over 32,000 new SARS-CoV-2 cases per day.
Even with 28 deaths this week Utah remains the state with the lowest death rate in the country. Idaho and Alaska are second and third respectively
As far as infection rates go, Utah dropped into the poor category as it has now exceeded the 1% level (1.06%)
Most of the states with over 1% infection rates are east of the Mississippi River
All states over 1% include New York (2.09) Florida (1.63),Illinois (1.28), Georgia(1.32),New Jersey(1.99)Arizona (1.94), Massachusetts(1.63),Tennessee(1.12), Maryland(1.29), South Carolina(1.31), Louisiana(1.91),Connecticut(1.34),Iowa(1.22), Nevada(1.12), Arkansas(1.08),Mississippi(1.41),Nebraska(1.16) and Rhode Island(1.68). At total of 19 states in all about 40% of all states now rank poor.
Meanwhile our neighbor Canada had a total of 369 new infections last week. The infection rate there is 0.30%, death rate 7.95% which is much higher than that of the U.S. (3.77)
