Highlights

New outbreaks were even seen in Asia this past week. China had 1,323 new cases, Japan 5,245 new cases, S. Korea 405 new cases and Hong Kong logged 1,106 new cases almost doubling their total case count! Meanwhile India and the Phillippens continued their high rates of new infections.
In Western Europe Spain logged over 12,166 new cases, while the U.K. and France each had over 5,000 new cases.
Sweden seems to be setteling down with only 1,716 new cases, but a poor 7.21% death rate, which is about half of the extreme death rates experienced in the U.K., France, Italy and Spain. Sweden's infection rate is well above that of the rest of Western Europe
Meanwhile all eyes were on the U.S. which added 510,434 new cases bringing the infection rate to 1.28%. There were a total of 9,124 deaths in the U.S. The hot sports of California, Texas and Florida added nearly 150,000 cases, each state averaging about 10,000 new cases per day. While going through the data is seemed like MOST states are still experiencing high rates of new infections.
U.S. states with the highest infection rates: Louisiana (2.31%), Arizona (2.20%), New York(2.12%), New Jersey(2.02%) Florida (1.97%), Mississippi (1.75%), RHose Island (1.72%).
Brazil has not slowed down with 319,653 new cases (45,665 per day). Argentina one of the better places in South America erupted with 35,810 new cases for the week.
