The countries with the most Novel Corona Virus infections (raw numbers not population adjusted)

United States 16.4 million up 1.7 million - a new 1-week record.
India 9.8 million up 200,000
Brazil 6. 8 million up 200,000
Russia 2.6 million up 100,00
France 2.4 million up 75,000
Italy 1.8 million up 115,000
United Kingdom 1.8 million up 126,000
Spain 1.7 million up 45,000
Argentina 1.4 million up 34,000
Colombia 1.4 million up 250,000

In Europe, things are generally improving especially in France. Germany and the U.K. and this week Italy are the only countries with over 100,000 infections for the week. Sweden remains a hot spot.
The U.S. averaged 199,974 new cases per day. Simply the worst ever.
States with an infection rate over 11%: North Dakota
States with an infection rate over 10%: South Dakota
States with an infection rate over 8%: (new) Wisconsin, Utah
States with an infection rate over 7%: Iowa, Nebraska
States with an infection rate over 6%: Minnesota, Illinois, Idaho, (new) Tennessee, Indiana, Minnesota, Arkansas, Kansas, Montana, Wyoming
The states currently showing the most rapid growth in cases (11% or more of all cases last week) are California, Pennsylvania*, Ohio*, Washington, Connecticut, West Virginia, New Hampshire (20%!), Maine, Rhode Island, Delaware, and Vermont
States with less than 1% infection rate: Maine, and Vermont. New Hampshire was dropped.
States with over a 4% death rate: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts. Massachusetts dropped back into the 3% range
The rate of new infection recently has been dropping the death rates in several states e.g. New York and New Jersey.
States a less than 1% death rate: Alaska(0.43), Utah (0.45), Wyoming (0.82), Wisconsin (0.93) Nebraska (0.92), Idaho (0.97), Oklahoma (0.88), Kentucky (0.99)
