As expected the down trends continues. With good Christmas break behaviors it will continue to go down
There were exactly 100 Covid-19 related deaths in Utah during the last week. A good decrease from the prior week. The seven day moving average death rate dropped to 14 from 17.

In Europe, things are generally improving especially in France. , Spain, Greece, and Italy. Germany had a bad week bit its standards, The U.K. again rose markedly and jumped up to #6 in the world's raw count.
The U.S. averaged 199,974 new cases per day. Simply the worst ever.

States with an infection rate over 8%: Wisconsin, Utah, (new) Iowa, Nebraska
States with an infection rate over 7%: (new) Illinois, Tennessee, Minnesota, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Rhode Island, Wyoming
States with an infection rate over 6%: Arizona, Indiana, Missouri, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kansas, New Mexico, Montana
The states currently showing the most rapid growth in cases (11% or more of all cases last week) are California, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington, Arizona, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Oklahoma, West Virginia, New Hampshire (17%!), Maine, Delaware, and Vermont
