• November 11, Friday -- RM Reunion Dinner is still the same but we ask every one to wear black instead of Thai costume.
• November 12, Saturday - We change the time of activity to start at 2 p.m. and will finish about 6 p.m. the same place. (more spiritual, no entertainment)
• November 13, Sunday - Pioneer Devotional is still the same.

1. Friday Nov 11 (6pm-10pm) RM Reunion dinner at Sapansung Ward building, Ramkhamhaeng road, Minburi. $18 per person. Thai costume for Farang RM and Thai RM only (with their families).


2. Saturday Nov 12 (6pm-10pm) --afternoon and evening) 50th Anniversary Culture night at Prepared Church building, Changwattana road. Thai costume, this will be open activity for the public. We expect 1,200 people will attend. Outdoor performance SYS, other talent shows, Bangkok Street Food festival. Indoor Thai culture performance. Free admission and free food.


3. Sunday Nov 13 (5:30pm-7:30pm) Thailand Pioneer Devotional at Pakkred church building Changwattana. (no longer at Asoke chapel)


4. Tuesday Nov 15 Chiang Mai celebration (for Chiang Mai wards and branches--more info coming--remember Loy Kratong festivities taking place November 14th)


5. Saturday Nov 19 Activities at Udorn District (will be confirmed later).


6. Saturday Nov 12 (same night as Bangkok) Anniversary culture night at Ubon Stake in Ubon (more info TBA)

Thailand was dedicated for the preaching of the gospel on November 2, 1966, by Elder Gordon B. Hinckley.  The first missionaries did not arrive until February 2, 1968.

Here is what President Chaichana had to say regarding this event:

We plan to have all members from all units gather together in Bangkok on November 12, 2016 to celebrate 50th Anniversary for the whole day. We will rent the national stadium or national convention hall for 4000 people. There will be exhibition booths for all church departments and each ward and branch from all over the country will display their unit's history.  We will also have the local Thai food festival that everyone can test the local Thai food from every region.  At night we will have culture and art showcase from the representatives of each part in Thailand.

The next day, November 13 we will hold the national conference which will preside by the general authority.

November14-15 is the annual Loy Kratong Festival

A couple days before that we plan to have fundraising activities for charity between members and RMs such as golf tournament, bowling tournament and a marathon.
